Second Dance Competition - Day 2

Today was another great day at the dance competition.  Victoria and Gabriel got a Platinum for their tap dance "One" (Sequin Jackets)  This dance got 5th place.  The other three dances got High gold (7th on one of the dances).  Enjoy the pictures.

Second Dance Competition

I hate it when those who put on the dance competitions do not let you take pictures.  I pay enough money for my girls to participate so this is ridiculous.

In spite of this. Gabriel and Victoria did great today.  All of the dances got a High Gold.  Gabriel's solo got second place and her two trio's got eighth and fifth place.  We were at the competition from 10:00 AM - 11:00 PM and we have to be there for several hours tomorrow.

Every year Nana & Papa have the grandkids over to dye easter eggs.  Even though not every grandkid was able to come, they still had a great time.  Enjoy the pictures (even though none of the pictures are of dying easter eggs).

Yes - In the trunk.  They went to feed the everlasting horse Dandy and rode in the trunk like they did when they were younger.

Paintings

Kelda and I had a friend (June Littlepage) do some painting for us.  Kelda wanted a lion and lamb on the painting.  She left the design up to June.  After June did some preliminary work (and praying) she came back to us and with her ideas.  They were perfect.  The paintings also included  cross with a crown of thorns.  This design is very similar to my tattoo with the cross and crown of thorns.

I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as we enjoy the paintings.  Come see the real things in our living room.

NO FEAR

Sorry I have not posted in a while.  We have been kind of busy.  In a 9 day period, I spent 2 days in Chattanooga for a dance competition, 4 days in California for work and two days at the middle school retreat.  In late February, Kelda and I both worked Walk to Emmaus weekends (three days away each).  Coming up we have Gabriel and Victoria going to Kansas City to see the Price's and then another dance competition.  I also have a little travel for work too.  Hopefully we will slow down at some point.

That is not what I wanted to post.  We went to middle high retreat last weekend.  It was an amazing weekend where God showed up and blessed the kids.  We also had a little free time.  Gabriel and Victoria decided to do the ropes course.  It is cool to see them with no fear (that may come back to haunt me later).

One of the other things to do was to shoot guns.  Victoria really wanted to do this.  She had a ton of fun shooting the guns!!!!
