Cousins (some of them)

Gabriel and Victoria had their Pianothon this morning at Town Center Mall.  (I promise I will post some of those pictures later.)  Some of the cousins (Price's and Williams') were there so we took the opportunity to do a quick "family" picture.  Enjoy!!!!!!

I don't know who would have told them to make a funny face.

It must have been that stranger that walked by that made them make a funny face.  We can't wait to see the rest of the cousins so that they can be in the picture too!!!!!!!!

Dance Cabaret

We had the holiday dance cabaret today.  I have so many pictures to choose from and too little space.  Victoria and Gabriel danced and played the piano.  They both did a great job!!!

Perfect!

Gabriel almost jumped out of the picture!

Victoria Dance

Through all of the Fall Festivals, Gabriel has had more opportunities to dance.  This weekend Victoria finally got a chance to dance.  She did a great job.  Enjoy.  (more pictures to come as we go to competitions.)

Beautiful girl!!!!!!

Nana & Papa's House (the original)

While in Asheville we went by Nana & Papa's (the original - Dick's parents) house to see what it looked like.  The trees in the front yard have definitely grown.  It has been 10 - 15 years since I saw the house.  Looking back I should have gone to the door and knocked to look around.  Does that make me crazy?  (Kelda already thinks I am crazy for sitting in the street taking pictures)

Asheville NC

We went to Asheville NC with Nana and Papa the first weekend in December.  We hit the Biltmore house and Nana & Papa's (the original) house.  It was so cold and we even got to see a little snow.  Enjoy the photos.

My best friend.

I love this picture of Kelda.  She looks beautiful and has the mountains in the background.

Tattoo

I have wanted a tattoo for many years.  Kelda has always said the only way I could get one is if her friend from high school, Mike Parsons, did it.  The catch to this statement is that we have not been in touch with Mike in years.  I think Kelda thought that there would be no way this would happen.  Kelda found Mike through Facebook several months ago.  I started in on her immediately for a tattoo.  We started discussing designs (we both quickly got to a cross and a crown) and I did a little research online.  I found out that Mike would be doing tattoos in Marietta the week of Thanksgiving so I set up a time to have it done.  I had been telling Gabriel and Victoria I was doing this but I do not think they thoug I was going to really do it until we pulled into the parking lot of the studio on Tuesday.

Mike took my examples and made a design on his own.  Here are a few "action" photos.

Kelda watched the entire time and Gabriel watched most of the time (Victoria does not like needles so she did not watch much).  Gabriel had this confused look on her face and when I asked her what she was thinking I got the same answer.  "I'm not sure."

No it did not hurt and yes I am glad I did it.  I love what it stands for.  The nails and the cross and the crown of thorns.

As the color comes in over the next few weeks I will post a few more pictures.

Thanksgiving

This year the Prices (Jeff, Kristian, Ashton and Mallory) were not able to make it to Dick & Judy's for Thanksgiving (Debbi and Steve were not able to make it either but we did not Skype them).  We missed Debbi and Steve but we will get to see them at Christmas.

To help the Prices celebrate with us we Skyped them for two hours (after a few minutes of technical issues).  How bad is it when  16 people are looking into a computer screen.  Can you say redneck?  We played a little game of show the baby's butt on the computer and Kristian shared her love for her brother by waving at me.  There are more stories and more details to these stories.  If you want to know more, come to Dick and Judy's next year and witness for yourself.  You would not believe it if I told you!

Rebecca and Archer.

As always, we celebrated Gabriel's birthday with our extedend family.  Even the Price's got to sing Happy Birthday to Gabriel via Skype.  We all ate too much but had a great time.

Beautiful Girls

The dance studio where the girls dance went to see the Rockette's this week so naturally Gabriel and Victoria needed new dresses.  Needless to say that I did not like the experience.  Our tastes and styles are different (mainly because I do not want them to look as good as they do dressed up)  Let's just say that when Victoria was looking for high heels, I knew I was in trouble.  As you can tell from the pictures below, they ended up getting the right outfits and they look beautiful.  I am blessed to have three beautiful girls in my house.
