Juneau and Skagway

I am sitting here @ 11:35 (3:35 AM Eastern) trying to decide which pictures to post so you can see what we have been doing.  I have taken about 3,000 pictures.  When the family comes over on 7/10 we will be watching pictures on the big screen.  It is still light outside and cool.  It has rained the last two days but it has not though kept us from enjoying our time.

Enjoy the pictures.  More to come tomorrow.  We will be in Glacier Bay.

P.S.  Dick..... it does not cost $5.00 per min for the internet.

Gabriel and Victoria @ Mendenhall Glacier

Look at the size of this glacier!!!

Little ice bergs in the bay.

Humpback whales in Skagway.

Nice tail!!!!

Love the white on the tail.

Look's like an eagle diving into the water.

Victoria and Gabriel on the train (again) in Skagway.
Our second train on this trip.

The love of my life.  She is beautiful!!!!!!!!!!

Not sure what would have been the most exciting--the train rides or the seeing the whales!

Wow! As I look at the beautiful landscape I imagine the silence. The Lord has impressed upon me lately with silence (KS, NE, etc..)While I know His kingdom to come will be very loud (peels of thunder and lightening around the throne on a sea of glass...)He is speaking through the silence. May be because our world has so much distracting, continuous noise!! Thanks for sharing the pix, listen through the remarkable silence. Kristian

Wow! Between your pictures of the northern beauty, our pictures of Kenya and the fantastic animals and Ashton's pictures from Taiwan/Japan we could have a 3 day get together on the 10th.
It's beautiful !!! Glad you're having such a good time.
Love, Moma

My Mom's in Alaska on a cruise this week, too. She called from Skagway the other day (I already checked with Jeff so I know she's not on your ship). Glad you're having fun
